Frank Dobner : Twitter for Business
This presentation will provide suggestions as to how Twitter can be used for business both in upfront market research and in downstream direct promotion. Specific tools will be provided during the presentation and how you may want to use these tools in business.

Andrew Dougherty : POSI
Using Semantic tools and AI, POSI elicits from people their goals, interests, and abilities and begins to build relationships between goals, such as depends, along with helps and/or subgoals. An example of this would be a user sets himself up as a programmer with a skill set. Scouring both internal goals of other members and external content such as job postings with Craigslist, POSI then begins to match needs with skills. The POSI project was started by a developer of MySQL and our very own Andrew is taking up the cause to lead this fresh social application into new territory.

Amanda Webb : MySpace
Using good design and aggressive marketing, Amanda was able to drive 10's of thousands of unique, qualified viewers to a clients site using MySpace.
Amanda Webb has been designing both Flash and non-Flash site for over  6 years, cataloging a unique and varied client list, from restaruants and sound engineers to medical professionals and artists. Her work continues designing content management systems and delving in PHP, kicking and dragging.

Dave Ross : Facebook

Come learn how companies are reaching out to Facebook's more than 175 million active users. Anyone can set up a Facebook page for their company, but you are going to learn how to engage your fans, drive traffic to your site, and turn those fans into loyal customers.
Dave Ross is Lead Developer at Xeno Media, where he crafts WordPress, Drupal, and custom PHP web sites. He's watched the Internet grow from a nerds' paradise to the engine of global commerce, and greatly enjoys the social aspects of the whole "web 2.0" phenomenon. Dave runs the West Suburban Chicago PHP Meetup and tinkers with open source software and vintage computers in his spare time.

Jeff Eaton :: Drupal Developer
Core developer for Drupal, co-author of Using Drupal, O'Reilly Press, Jeff will be discussing his tools and tricks for maintaining client relationships over social networks.
