Search Engine Optimization

I'm currently sitting in the Batavia Library writing this introduction while I listen for the new material to post a summary.  I'm sure Eric will be posting more details at some time in the not too distant future... in the meantime, this summary and the attached file can provide some of the latest information. 

In Summary, I guess what stood out as new material were the revelations about changes in the way search engines are working now...

• You might have noticed recently more personalization to your search results.  Great, but what if you want to do a non-personalized search?  For instance I do lot's or research for client projects which are not related to what I might search on.
• Google is going from around 128 variables in their ranking to about 170... what the new ones will be is anybodys guess, video, images, semantic markup?? We shall see.
• www.trendeyes.com Well in the "inner-circle" we've been hearing about it for a while, nice to see it up and running albeit with upgrades to come.  Good Work Eric!!
