Is it just me or is our theme broken?  Look below the content block and you will see our right column over in the left column.  Who has been messing around with our theming?  Ideas anyone? I am on projects the rest of the week with no time to fix.

Kurt Cagle posted a great entry on his blog on O'Reilly titled "Getting Started With Drupal". I've not read the entire thing yet, but it looks to be incredibly comprehensive and his advice seems to be in line with some of the stuff Bob has presented in his previous Drupal presentations.

Just some bits and pieces I've come across this week.

Twuffer

Twuffer is a Twitter buffer. Say that 5 times fast! Twuffer allows the Twitter user to compose a list of future tweets, and schedule their release. Good for post dated scheduled content.

Successful night.  Not too bad for filling in a program, a bit disorganized, but I think we all learned things.  www.NoOil.tv is built and active.  It's not what it could be yet, but I've seen lots of worse sites out there!

There were lots of blog postings that were promoted to the front page in preparation for this... I've taken them off the front page now but you can see them on Member Blogs.

So here's a thought... Eric is planning on SEO101 next month (there will probably be a post shortly about that).  What does everyone think about building some content and promoting traffic for nooil.tv in the meantime? Could that be folded into the presentation?  Rapid Development followed by Rapid Promotion?

It seems I have been having some issues with the two dogs in the new house and last night was a real winner. Was up until 1am making sure the dogs behaved, which they were prone not to do.

Thanks to everyone who attended the presentation on taking Drupal to the next level.  This was a follow-up from my first session on Drupal in January 2008, where we built this site, www.foxvalleycp.com from scratch.  It was a basic 101 type session which focused on installation and the adminstrator interface.  Since we haven't done much with this site since then except some occasional posts, I thought it would be appropriate to build out some more functionality and share how that was done.
